Complete guide to navigating and using the PROVESA Web admin panel

The PROVESA Web admin panel is your central hub for managing all aspects of your institutional website. This guide will walk you through the interface and core features.

Accessing the Admin Panel

1. Navigate to Login

   Go to /login on your PROVESA Web installation.

2. Enter Credentials

   Use your administrator email and password to sign in.

3. Access Dashboard

   After successful authentication, you’ll be redirected to /admin where the dashboard is displayed.

If you’ve forgotten your password, use the “¿Olvidaste tu contraseña?” link on the login page to initiate password recovery via email.

Admin Panel Layout

The admin panel features a clean, modern interface with:

• Left Sidebar: Main navigation with all admin sections
• Top Header: Section title and search functionality
• Main Content Area: Active section content
• User Profile: Located at the bottom of the sidebar with logout option

The sidebar provides quick access to all management sections:

1. Vistas Hoy - Daily page views

3. Candidatos CV - Job applications received
4. Clics Botones - Button click analytics

Content Sections Table

View all landing page sections with:

• Section name and content type
• Publication status (Público/Borrador)
• Quick edit actions

Weekly Traffic Chart

Visual representation of weekly traffic with:

• Day-by-day breakdown (Monday through Sunday)
• Percentage change vs. previous week
• Interactive bar chart

Common Tasks

Quick Navigation

Click any sidebar item to instantly switch to that section. The active section is highlighted with a blue background and white text.

You can also use the search bar in the top header to find specific sections by name.

Saving Changes

Most sections have dedicated save buttons at the bottom of forms:

• Look for “Aplicar Cambios” or “Guardar” buttons
• Success confirmations appear with a green checkmark
• Forms typically show loading states during saves

Logging Out

To safely log out:

1. Locate your user profile at the bottom of the sidebar
2. Click the logout icon (arrow pointing right)
3. You’ll be redirected to the login page

User Profile Section

At the bottom of the sidebar, you’ll find:

• Avatar: Displays your initials on a colored circle
• Name: Your administrator name
• Role: “Panel de Control” label
• Logout Button: Quick sign-out action

Search Functionality

The search bar in the top header allows you to:

• Search for sections by name (e.g., “Sliders”, “Productos”)
• Quick filter to find specific management areas
• Accessible on all screen sizes (hidden on mobile < 640px)

Responsive Design

The admin panel is optimized for desktop use. On mobile devices:

• The sidebar is hidden by default
• Use the hamburger menu to access navigation
• Some complex forms may require horizontal scrolling

Best Practices

1. Regular Saves: Save your work frequently to prevent data loss
2. Preview Changes: Use preview features when available before publishing
3. Image Optimization: Compress images before uploading for better performance
4. Consistent Logout: Always log out when finished to maintain security

Troubleshooting

Session Expired

If you’re automatically redirected to login:

• Your session may have expired
• Simply log in again to continue

Changes Not Appearing

If changes don’t show on the public site:

• Clear your browser cache
• Check if changes were saved (look for success message)
• Refresh the public page with Ctrl+F5 (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)

Upload Failures

If image uploads fail:

• Ensure file size is under 10MB
• Use supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP, SVG
• Check your internet connection
